We're so pleased to see you back in the pond and the gym. I hope you too are happy to be back and feel safe in the Baths.
In September we usually take part in the Doors Open Day Festival and welcome hundreds of visitors to the Baths. Sadly we can't invite people through the doors physically this year but we are taking part in some alternative Doors Open Day activities.
The History Group has created a 150th Anniversary audio walking tour, which takes you around the local area to the addresses of some of our founding members where you can stop and listen to the stories of their lives. Just download the app and search for Arlington.
To find out more about the walk, the stories and the research behind them, join the members of the History Group for an online chat on Tuesday 15 September at 8.30pm at:
Walking Tour Launch Online Chat
It's also a chance to pose your questions to the Group: anything they can't answer will go on the list for investigation!
We're also excited to be able to take 'visitors' inside the Baths via an online tour next week. If you have friends or family outside Glasgow who have never seen inside the building, now's their chance! It's showing at 4pm on Thursday 17 September and, again, the History Group will be on hand to answer questions. Just use this link to log on
Doors Open Day is an important way for us to share our unique story and attract new members, which is particularly important in this very difficult year. Please do pass on the details of these events to anyone you think may be interested.
