Forty five years ago this month the baths had a very special visitor. Rudolf Nureyev, perhaps the world's greatest male ballet dancer came to visit the Turkish Suite and to get a massage from the baths masseur.
Today the story is commemorated in the Herald and Glasgow Times by journalist Caroline Wilson.
The story of the visit was an Arlington myth we weren't too sure of until the history group found evidence in the baths archives. After some dogged detective work the history group pieced together why Rudolf was in the west end. Read the full story here.
