Celebrate 850 years of Glasgow with a hands-on workshop led by artist and printmaker Fouzia Zafar. Children will explore historic images of the city and imagine bold future skylines. Using LEGO bricks, participants will design, ink, and print their own cityscape using an A3 printing press. Materials provided, Limited places available. Suitable for children 7+.

Adult Workshop Sunday 26 April 2026 1.30-5pm, Reading Room, £45

A relaxed, adult-focused workshop exploring pattern, design & print. Discover geometric printmaking in this hands-on workshop inspired by Islamic geometry and the tiled patterns of the Arlington Baths. Using LEGO pieces and a printing press, you’ll create bold patterns and experiment with colour to produce striking, contemporary prints. You’ll be guided step-by-step, from simple geometric forms to a finished piece, Materials provided, limited places.
