Have you noticed this photo of past swimmers at the Club?
Our special Doors Open exhibition presents the fascinating life of the man who took that photo back in 1896: Adolphus Hanns Geyer from Austria-Hungary.
Find out about his life and work in Glasgow and the German church on Woodlands Road where he preached, as well as his love of the Scottish scenery.
His story reveals hidden aspects of Victorian Glasgow including the immigrant and travelling communities in the city. An artist as well as a photographer, the exhibition includes 25 of his etchings of landscapes in Glasgow, Scotland and Europe, on display
